We are proud that September 6th will not only be our 23rd BarrieFest, but the Village has proclaimed it SEOPCO Day in Oak Park! Our neighborhood organization was cited for its two decades of neighborhood leadership, resilience, and community pride.
From its origins in the wake of the Barrie Park environmental cleanup, SEOPCO has grown into a trusted partner in public safety, equity, and civic engagement. Through events like BarrieFest, voter forums, and community engagement, we’ve worked to ensure every resident feels seen, heard, and at home in our community.
Now, we need your support.
Our BarrieFest costs are rising every year and we need community contributions in order to continue this tradition. All of your contributions go to funding BarrieFest, our voter forums and other activities. Our Board is all-volunteer and we don’t use any professional fundraisers.
